Lowey Wins Final Approval of $182.5M Euribor Settlement with Citi and JPMorgan

On May 17, 2019, Judge P. Kevin Castel granted Final Approval of Plaintiffs’ $182.5M settlement with Citibank and JPMorgan Defendants in Sullivan v. Barclays PLC, et. al., 13-cv-02811 (S.D.N.Y.).  The settlement resolves claims against the banks related to alleged manipulation of the Euro Interbank Offered Rate (“Euribor”). This settlement brings the total amount that Lowey has recovered on behalf of Euribor-based derivatives investors to $491.5 million.
