On September 24, 2020, Judge J. Paul Oetken of the United States Court for the Southern District of New York appointed Lowey Dannenberg as lead counsel in In re Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. Securities Litigation, 20-cv-04953 (S.D.N.Y.), which concerns allegedly false and misleading statements made by defendants regarding the acquisition of another gold mining company.
In appointing Lowey as lead counsel, the Court recognized Lowey’s “experience[] in securities litigation” and the efforts taken by Plaintiff Brahms to prepare and file this action. A copy of the Court’s order a can be downloaded here
