On June 5, 2023, Judge Kai N. Scott appointed Christian Levis of Lowey Dannenberg, P.C. as one of three Interim Co-Lead Class Counsel representing a proposed class of plaintiffs in In Re NCB Management Services, Inc. Data Breach Litigation, No. 23-cv-1236 (E.D. Pa.).
NCB Management Services, Inc. (“NCB”) is a national accounts receivable management company that provides account services to companies. The consolidated class action alleges that NCB failed to properly secure, safeguard, and protect the personally identifiable information (including names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth, employment positions, pay amounts, driver’s license numbers, Social Security numbers, account numbers, credit card numbers, routing numbers, account balances, and/or account statuses) of its clients’ customers, whose accounts NCB serviced (the “Data Breach”).
Lowey Dannenberg’s appointment follows its recent leadership appointments as Co-Lead Class Counsel in January 2023 in In re: Data Security Cases Against Nelnet Servicing, LLC, No. 22-cv-3191 (D. Neb.); November 2021 in In re USAA Data Security Litigation, No. 21-cv-05813 (S.D.N.Y.); June 2020 in In re Wawa, Inc. Data Security Litigation, No. 19-cv-06019 (E.D.
