Lowey Dannenberg is investigating orthopaedic provider Excelsior Orthopaedics for a data breach that allowed a threat actor to access current and former patients’ and employees’ personal information.
Excelsior Orthopaedics has confirmed that the information concerns an individual’s full name, address, date of birth, Social Security Number, Driver’s License number, non-driver identification card number, and biometric information.
Excelsior Orthopaedics also confirmed the incident resulted in the compromise of data relating to current and former patients and employees of Excelsior and its related entities, including the Buffalo Surgery Center and Northtowns Orthopaedics.
