Representative Successes

  • Frasco v. Flo Health, Inc., No. 3:21-cv-00757 (N.D. Cal.): Mr. Lu was a crucial member of the Lowey team that led the case where Meta and Google surreptitiously intercepted women’s health information from the period-tracking app. Mr. Lu assisted in various aspects of the case, including defeating defendants’ dispositive motions, certifying a class, and assisted the trial team in obtaining a trial verdict against Meta for $5,000 statutory damages per class member.
  • Doe v. Regents of the University of California, No. 3:23-cv-00598 (N.D. Cal.): since its inception, Mr. Lu has managed this case against UCSF Medical Center for its use of Meta Pixel and Google Analytics and its disclosure of patient information for targeted advertising. Mr. Lu has helped the Lowey team obtain multiple victories in dispositive and discovery motions in this case.
