Christian Levis is a partner and head of the firm’s data breach and privacy practice group. An award-winning litigator, Mr. Levis is recognized as one of the top 500 cyber lawyers and plaintiffs’ lawyers in the world, and a two-time honoree by the American Antitrust Institute for outstanding achievement in private enforcement. He served as co-trial counsel in Frasco v. Flo Heath, obtaining the first jury verdict in history against Meta for privacy violations. In addition to his extensive experience litigating on behalf of individual and corporate clients, Mr. Levis is an avid developer and co-found of Claim Magic, a cutting edge AI-powered litigation platform designed to help attorneys better manage complex cases and assist individuals in obtaining access to justice.

Notable Accomplishments in Data Breach & Privacy Litigation:

Mr. Levis leads several ongoing data breach and privacy class actions and has obtained significant recoveries for plaintiffs and class members in others. Some examples of recent cases are listed below:

· Frasco v. Flo Health, Inc., 3:21-cv-00757-JD (N.D. Cal.) Mr. Levis is co-lead counsel in this class action alleging that popular menstruation and pregnancy tracking app Flo improperly shared and allowed millions of users’ health information to be recorded by digital advertising and analytics providers, Meta, Google, and Flurry. Plaintiffs tried the case against Meta and Flo in 2025 during which Mr. Levis handled the examination of Plaintiffs’ source code and app development expert, and cross examination of all defense experts. Plaintiffs settled with Flo shortly before verdict, obtaining a combined $59.5 million for the class from settlements with Flo, Google, and Flurry. The jury delivered a historic verdict against Meta finding it violated California privacy laws by unlawfully recording women’s answers to questions within the Flo app.

· Lopez v. Apple, Inc., Case No. 19-cv-04577 (N.D. Cal.). Mr. Levis is class counsel in this privacy class action against Apple arising out of the alleged unauthorized recording of consumers through its Siri virtual assistant to fuel speech recognition model development. Plaintiffs recovered $95 million for the class as part of a settlement with Apple that also required it to destroy unlawfully obtained data and enact enhanced privacy disclosures. The Court granted final approval to this settlement in late 2025.

· In re Google Assistant Privacy Litig., Case No. 19-cv-04286 (N.D. Cal.), Mr. Levis is class counsel for a certified class of purchasers of Google-made devices (e.g., Google Home speakers, and Pixel phones) in the United States. The case centers on Google alleged unauthorized recording of Google Assistant users in the absence of “Hey Google” or “Ok Google” and subsequent disclosure of that audio to human-

review contractors enlisted to assist AI speech model development. February 2026, the Court granted preliminary approval to Plaintiffs’ $68 million settlement with Google to resolve these claims.

· In re Wawa Inc. Data Security Litig., 19-cv-06019 (E.D. Pa.) Mr. Levis is court appointed co-lead counsel representing banks, credit unions and other financial institutions in this class action alleging that deficient security practices at Wawa stores compromised approximately 30 million payment cards. Financial institution plaintiffs agreed to resolve all claims against Wawa arising from the breach as part of a settlement that provided $28.5 million in relief for class members making it the third largest data breach settlement of 2023. The Court granted final approval of these financial institutions’ settlement in 2026.

· Doe v. GoodRx Holdings Inc., et al., Case No. 3:23-cv-00501 (N.D. Cal.). Mr. Levis is co-lead counsel in this class action alleging that GoodRx improperly disclosed medical information, including regarding class members’ prescription drugs, to third-party advertisers and analytics companies. Plaintiffs reached agreements with GoodRx and Criteo to resolve the claims against them for $32 million. These settlements are currently pending approval while the case continues against the remaining defendants.

· Barr v. Drizly, LLC f/k/a Drizly, Inc., et al., Case No. 1:20-cv-11492 (D. Mass.). Mr. Levis served as co-lead counsel representing a class of 2.5 million consumers impacted by a data breach impacting the popular liquor delivery app. The court granted final approval to a settlement making $7.1 million in monetary and other financial relief available to class members in 2021.

· In Re: Data Security Cases Against NELNET SERVICING, LLC, Case No. 4:22-cv-03191 (D. Neb.). Mr. Levis serves as co-lead counsel in this data breach class action alleging that student loan servicer Nelnet improperly disclosed borrowers’ sensitive financial information. In May 2025, the Court granted approval of a $10 million settlement that would resolve this action.

· Rand v. The Travelers Indemnity Company, Case No. 7:21-cv-10744 (S.D.N.Y.). Mr. Levis is co-lead counsel in class action alleging that Travelers violated individuals’ privacy rights when it disclosed driver’s license information without consent though its web portal. Plaintiffs obtained final approval of a $6 million settlement resolving these claims in 2025.

· Dolan v. United Services Automobile Association, Case No. 7:21-cv-05813(S.D.N.Y.). Mr. Levis is also co-lead counsel in a similar case involving USAA and the alleged

unauthorized disclosure of driver’s license information though its web portal. The Court approve a $3.2 million settlement with USAA to resolve these claims in 2025.

Other Notable Achievements:

· Bond Rigging: Mr. Levis represented the Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in In re GSE Bonds Antitrust Litigation, Case No. 19-cv-1704 (JSR) (S.D.N.Y.) (“GSE Bonds”), a class action against sixteen of the world’s largest banks alleging a conspiracy to fix the prices of debt securities issued by government sponsored entities. Plaintiffs reached settlements totaling more than $386 million, resulting in a substantial recovery for bond investors nationwide. These settlements also obligated defendants to adopt and maintain remedial measures, including compliance reforms designed to detect and prevent anticompetitive conduct in the GSE bond market. Mr. Levis and 4 other attorneys on the Lowey team received the American Antitrust Institute award for Outstanding Antitrust Litigation Achievement in Private Law Practice as recognition for these significant results.

· Benchmark Manipulation: Mr. Levis played an integral role in several class actions involving the manipulation of IBOR-denominated financial instruments, in which Lowey served as either sole or co-lead counsel. See, e.g., Laydon v. Mizuho Bank, Ltd., Case No. 12-cv-03419 (S.D.N.Y); Sullivan v. Barclays PLC, Case No. 13-cv-02811 (S.D.N.Y.); In re: London Silver Fixing Ltd. Antitrust Litigation, Case No. 14-md-02573 (S.D.N.Y.); Sonterra Capital Master Fund Ltd. v. Credit Suisse Group AG, Case No. 15-cv-871 (S.D.N.Y). Collectively, these actions have resulted in over $820 million in settlements. In 2023, Mr. Levis received the American Antitrust Institute Award Outstanding Achievement by a Young Lawyer for his work on one of these class actions, Fund Liquidation Holdings, LLC v. Citibank N.A. et. al., Case No. 16-cv-5263 (S.D.N.Y.) involving a group of banks alleged to have manipulated the Singapore Interbank Offered Rate (SIBOR) and Swap Offered Rate (SOR). After extensive litigation both at the district court and appellate level, the case ultimately settled for more than $170 million.

· In 2026, Mr. Levis was recognized as one of Lawdragon’s Global 500 Plaintiff lawyers and cyber lawyers, one of few attorneys to receive recognition in multiple areas.

· Additionally, he was recognized by Legal500 as a NY Elite – Cybersecurity and Data Protection Lawyer.

· He was selected as a Rising Star in the 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 edition of Super Lawyers

· Mr. Levis has twice been recognized by the American Antitrust Institute for his work on antitrust class actions, receiving the award for Award Outstanding Achievement by a Young Lawyer and Outstanding Antitrust Litigation Achievement in Private Law Practice.
