What Happened and What Information Was Involved: SuperCare Health is one of the largest post-acute, in-home respiratory care providers in the western United States.On March 25, 2022, SuperCare Health announced that in July 2021 it discovered unauthorized activity on their systems. SuperCare Health revealed that an unknown party accessed certain systems on their network from July 23, 2021 to July 27, 2021.The information disclosed may include: name, address, date of birth, hospital or medical group, patient account number, medical record number, health insurance information, testing/diagnostic/treatment information, other health-related information, and claim information, and even Social Security numbers and/or driver’s license numbers in some instances. This highly sensitive information may be used for identity theft, fraud or other unlawful activity.
