What Happened and What Information Was Involved:

Steel River provides debt collection services on behalf of its client, AvanteUSA LTD.

Steel River recently announced that on or about July 16, 2022, Steel River became aware of suspicious activity on its computer network.  The company’s investigation determined that data contained on certain Steel River systems was subject to unauthorized access and/or acquisition between May 25, 2022, and July 16, 2022. The investigation determined that certain personal information could have been impacted. The information that could have been subject to unauthorized access includes:

• Names
• Addresses
• Social Security numbers
• Driver’s license information
• Financial account information
