On May 13, 2022, Parker Hannifin announced that in March 2022 it discovered unauthorized activity on its systems. Following an investigation, Parker-Hannifin revealed that an unauthorized party accessed certain systems on their network from March 11, 2022 to March 14, 2022. The information disclosed to unauthorized third parties may include: name, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, driver’s license numbers, U.S. passport numbers, financial account information (bank account and routing numbers), online account usernames / passwords, enrollment information, including health insurance plan member ID numbers, and dates of coverage. For some of these individuals, the files also included dates of coverage, dates of service, provider names, claims information, and medical and clinical treatment information. This highly sensitive information may be used for identity theft, fraud or other unlawful activity.
