What Happened and What Information Was Involved:
MFHS is a health and human services organization based in northeastern Pennsylvania.
MFHS recently announced that on or about April 4, 2022, MFHS experienced a ransomware incident. MFHS’s investigation determined the incident occurred between August 21, 2021 and April 4, 2022. MFHS’s investigation further determined that the following elements of personal information were potentially accessed and/or acquired by an unauthorized individual:
- Dates of birth,
- Driver’s license numbers,
- Passport information,
- Social Security numbers,
- Financial account information, and
- Medical information and health insurance information.
